What will Formula 1 cars look in 2022, when the new Technical Regulations, radically different from the past, will come into force?
Since way back in 1983, the Federation has imposed the obligation of a "flat" car-bottom, thus limiting the most important area for the pursuit of high aerodynamic loads, fundamental for cornering grip.
With the abandon of the ''flat-bottom'' and on the back of other technical developments that will affect all areas, the aerodynamic development of cars will be markedly different, a choice that will also have a significant effect on the line.
Rules and themes of 2022 have been anticipated by the new edition of Capire la Formula 1, thanks to the usual graphics, which have made it possible to create a 'model type car', following the regulations step by step.
All in all, a 'new world' even for an already futuristic F1 sector, which will have to open up to new systems of project control, foreseen by the same Federation.
