1962. Lea (L'Editrice dell'Automobile) began the publications of the 'Catalogo mondiale dell'Automobile' ('World Cars' in the international edition).

With this Catalogue - the first edition of a yearbook published simultaneously in several languages - the Automobile Club d'Italia intends to offer an exhaustive and up-to-date panorama of world car production.

Each model produced is presented with an extensive technical data sheet with two photographs, one referring to the whole and the other to a detail of the car.

The catalogue groups the models by make and presents them in alphabetical order.

Searching the sheets is also facilitated by three analytical indexes: 1) by nationality and manufacturer, 2) by engine displacement, 3) by list price.

This Catalogue has 432 pages and covers the year 1978.
