And, for a work of this kind, with a wealth of illustrations and with rich typographic layout, the punctual publication within the reference year has always been considered a great advantage by some Ferrari enthusiasts around the world. In this edition of 1991, where the stages of a controversial World Championship are parsed carefully, there is constructive criticism and most significant documentation. Talking about the Director Claudio Lombardi, the head of Paul Massai and the drivers Alain Prost and Jean Alesi, interviewed by French journalists, most established Johnny Rives respectively and Patrick Camus, to exploit all the effectiveness of mother tongue. The technical budget focused on dual phase known as 642 and 643 models, x-rays and completely defined by their technical and functional features. Indeed, in the final gathering of technical documentation, the data for 1991 were models alongside those of Formula 1 cars of the 1989 and 1990, for character and affinities for pi immediate comparisons. As for the usual annual technical theme, this volume was named one of the twelve-cylinder engines, a great tradition of horse racing school, from the beginning of his fantastic story to 1991, the year that showed a huge potential, but that did not keep big promises. Finally, in each Annual Ferrari there are references to technical peculiarities that made Excel the Ferrari; and on this occasion the objectives were focused on CAD/CAM systems or Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacturing, which have revolutionised production processes in Maranello, as in all advanced technical centers of the IP world, and on the wind tunnel, which is certainly the most formidable research tool for modern automobile competition.
