Are all Ferraris fantastic? Ferrari Fantastiques offers readers and enthusiasts an expert, well-researched and superbly illustrated answer.

There are Ferraris that are more fascinating than others: not just for their rarity, but for the imprint they made on their era, for what they passed on to other Ferraris and even other marques.

For some, the most prestigious Ferraris are those of the Scuderia, those reserved for the Maranello racing team. These 'factory' Ferraris, rarely more than half a dozen per season, only left Maranello for testing and racing.

From these, once they had reached the necessary maturity, came the small series for customers.

The other universe, in which Ferrari has forged its prestige with an equally constant effort, is that of touring cars.

Often derived from the racing version, Ferrari road cars have a different but equally fascinating interest: they have brought the dream to the road and helped to spread this prestige.

These are the criteria that led Antoine Prunet and Peter Vann to select the models in this volume.

Among the 33 elite Ferraris, beautifully illustrated, are the 375 Mille Miglia, the 335 Sport, the 250 Testa Rossa, the 400 Superamerica, the legendary 250 GTO and the 275 GTB/4.
