Formula Junior dal 1958 al 1963, by Luigi Orsini, is a fundamental book on Formula Junior, published in 1969.

Conceived to overcome the crisis of competitive motor racing in Italy, Formula Junior (1958-1963) soon gained worldwide importance.

Its cars - initially with a displacement of 1,100 cc and a weight of 400 kg, later also 1,000 and 360 respectively - drew on the expertise and genius of many tuners who developed mainly Fiat and Lancia series engines during the phase of Italian dominance and Austin and Ford series engines during the following phase of English dominance.

Stanguellini, Taraschi, De Sanctis, Moretti, Elva, OSCA, Brabham, Cooper, De Tomaso and many others were the protagonists of this important sporting season with their cars.

Many Italian circuits (Cesenatico, Teramo, L'Aquila, Pescara, Caserta, Naples, Messina) and the most famous tracks in the world, starting with Monza, were the scene of Formula Junior competitions.

Many champions, such as Bandini and Baghetti, Brambilla and de Adamich, Scarfiotti and Parkes, Hulme and Clark, were trained and matured in those races.

You will find all this and much more in this precious volume by Luigi Orsini, written with the intention and the undoubted result of consigning to history a truly glorious chapter of Italian and international motor sport.
