Idroflex, the first Italian motorcycle with integral hydraulic suspension, although an unknown brand to the most embodies much of the Italian motorcycling history. It was in fact designed and built by Marzocchi brothers of Bologna and then recorded and produced in Milan in 1950 by the Ducati brothers, founders and owners (in Bologna) Ducati Company which already had produced even the motorized bicycle puppy. Then their paths diverged: Marzocchi they specialized more and more in the field suspensions arriving to become global leaders, while the Ducati Knights were ousted from their company through a "coup" by government agencies that were supposed to finance the recovery post- war and instead parcellizzarono and statalizzarono to their advantage a company around the world envied us. That's why this book offers, in addition to a previously unpublished motorcycle history, even a deepening of great value on national and political history of our country in its most awkward and hidden recesses.
