Cavalier Vincenzo Florio organized ten editions of the Targa Florio Motociclistica (from 1920 to 1929 inclusive) on the Madonie medium circuit.
In 1930 the race was transferred to the Parco della Real Favorita in Palermo until the last edition which was held in 1940.
The 1937, 1938 and 1939 editions were canceled due to the war in Abyssinia and other conflicts of the time.
Maurizio Mazzoni, two-wheel historian, retraces the history and events of the various editions of the two-wheeled Targa.
