This book, dedicated to the most famous racing motorbikes built by foreign industry (outside Italy), is the continuation and logical complement to the previous volume - also published in 1965 by Edisport - on the most famous Italian racing motorbikes.

As in the former, also in this volume are collected - in alphabetical order of brands - articles by Brizio Pignacca that appeared in the Italian magazine Motociclismo.

In these pages we talk about the racing models of thirteen different brands, representing the flower of industry of four different countries: Czechoslovakia, Germany, Japan and England.

In alphabetical order: A.J.S., B.M.W., D.K.W., Honda, Jawa-C.Z., M.Z., Norton, N.S.U., Rudge, Sunbeam, Suzuki, Velocette, Yamaha.

It is a real overview of racing motorbikes that have appeared on circuits all over the world in over a half century of history; famous names, some of them shrouded in an aura of legend, others still recurring in the sporting chronicles as protagonists of Grand Prix and winners of World Championships.

Motorbikes which from time to time have masterfully expressed technical approaches from particular schools of construction, and which offer an evocative documentation of how, through the most varied and at times discordant and opposing solutions, motorbike technology has reached very high achievements.

A small, valuable volume that has become a classic.
