His dream lasts a decade: just long enough to convert the A.L.F.A. to war production for the outbreak of World War I, and to see it revived for a new renaissance charge of commercial and sporting success.
Surrounded by men of other times: Ugo Stella, Giuseppe Merosi and Vittorio Jano at his side to the entrance of the state into the orbit of Gobbato Brand Management.
His Alfa enters the legend of the world of motorsport with drivers like Ascari, Campari, Sivocci, Wagner, Ferrari and Nuvolari: all artisans of the success of that brand established a bit randomly, joining the heraldic symbols of the Visconti of Milan.
