Seventh volume of the 'Enciclopedia de la motocicleta espanola' dedicated to Ossa manufacturer.

OSSA was founded in the 1920s as a manufacturer of a special patented system for giving films, which at that time were still silent, sound by coupling this particular device to the projectors.

The company's founder, Manuel Giro, was a former merchant navy officer and a speedboat racing enthusiast, where he achieved some records. When the attraction of water racing faded for him, he turned to road racing.

In 1949, the first model was presented: a 125 3-speed that reached a remarkable speed of 75 kilometres per hour. Within a few years, 14,000 units were sold.

Eight richly illustrated chapters describe the production of motocross, enduro and trial bikes as well as speed bikes, with nomenclature and technical data.
