Reading the book, one can guess that Richard Kaan has been dealing with vintage cars for a long time. After studying law and mechanical engineering, he worked as a mechanic, auto racing instructor, designer and prototype manufacturer and even developed the Puch / Daimler-Benz G model.
He has professionally restored cars and is now an expert on historic cars. Many experiences of his rich professional life reappear at one point or another in the book.
Then there are the spectacular photos of Daniel Reinhard. He too is not new to this world, having documented the automotive scene for about four decades. Already in the third generation, he uses the camera to capture contemporary history.
