Selected photographs of vintage cars, revive the atmosphere of the Mille Miglia 2018 and admire the immense architectural and artistic heritage of Italy, along with the most significant places, furrowed by the competition.
The volume dedicates a chapter to the history of the Mille Miglia of 1938. It is a rereading, eighty years later, of the twelfth edition of the historic race, a study enriched by documents and photographs of that race.
The edition is embellished by the intervention of Giordano Bruno Guerri, writer, historian and President of the Il Vittoriale degli Italiani Foundation, on "Gabriele d'Annunzio e l'automobile". A tribute to the supreme poet who died a month before the departure of the Mille Miglia in 1938.
In the book, the texts are in Italian and English.
