The book written with passion by Matteo Vitozzi contains the description of 16 manufacturers of romagna of agricultural vehicles that stood out in Italy and in the world between the '10s and the '60s of the last century. Some of these, ninety or octogenarians, have offered their entire wealth of experience, as well as paper and photographic material. In addition to technical content, there are the "human" stories of builders: their origins, the family, the changing workplace. For example Peter Bufferla was automobile mechanic, then realized agricultural engines; Giuseppe Marini produced motorcycles and only then went to agriculture; the brothers Venieri began with gasifiers for buses and trucks then coming to agricultural tractors. Each of the 16 contributed in its own way to relieve human and animal toil in the fields cultivation: the volume wants to spread the agricultural historical culture that ensued.
