During the three years in which it was held, from 1977 to 1979, the Challenge Monomarca Aspes Juma - Trofeo Motosprint had a very special significance for Italian motorcycling.
The possibility of competing with substantial mechanical parity and at an affordable cost attracted many riders to the ranks of the Trophy, both debutants and not, from which emerged the names that made up a large part of the national breeding ground for over a decade.
The small Jumas set out a new and unexplored criteria in the management of motorbike races that served as a guide in the years to come for all the single-brand championships that were inspired by this first example and with which they had to deal.
The story of these three exciting years, with their baggage of joys and experiences, images of the time, meticulous research into results and events of races gives us a view of Italian motorcycling in the 1970s that positively influenced Italian sport for many years.
