As a Scuderia Ferrari mechanic, Paolino as his friends have always called him, he has lived one of the most beautiful and intense seasons in Formula 1, alongside legendary riders like Carlos Reutemann, Jody Scheckter, Didier Pironi and Gilles Villeneuve. Scaramelli was his technical of trust from the beginning with the Cavallino in 1977, until the premature, tragic death on the circuit of Zolder in 1982.
