VW Käfer Limousinen 1938-1978 was published in 1993 in the popular Schrader-Motor-Chronik series by Schrader Verlag.
When the "Deutsche Volkswagen" was presented in 1938, it was a great success, but due to the imminent war, the car did not go into production.
The car's post-war success was unstoppable until the end of its production in Germany at the beginning of 1978.
This volume is entirely dedicated to the VW Käfer in the saloon version, a car that established an all-time world record of more than 20 million units sold and, not least, sensationalised with its often unusual and original advertising campaigns.
