After World War II Italy slowly starts to live.
In June 1947 the United States announced the so-called Marshall Plan, Italy is among the first countries to use them. And, a month before the Marshall Plan, precisely on May 11, in Piacenza it is held the first round of the 1947 sports car championship. It's called the Circuit of Piacenza and is destined to become a fundamental chapter in the history of sports in four wheels.
On the grid, in the category over 1100 cc, snaps in the front row a barchetta, called 125 S. The manufacturer is called Ferrari: is the beginning of the myth.
