“Formula 1. Stories of the unsung heroes” is completed with the arrival of a second volume: interviews with drivers and constructors who have never won the World Championship despite participating in the Grands Prix, from 1980 to the present day.
As with the first volume in this monumental work, those that have nevermotorsport’s unsung heroes.
Heartfelt stories, sincere, open and all the more precious because they are largely provided by drivers from the most recent era in which one to one interviews have become rarer than rare.
Mario Donnini, a member of the Autosprint editorial staff for for a quarter of a century, breaks through filters and media bars, presenting us with dozens of portraits of heroes who look into the mirror and reveal all the secrets of their enthralling adventures, rich in sentiment and nostalgia.
As usual with this series, the work is completed by invaluable photographic spreads drawing on largely unpublished material.
