Riders Jürgen Barth and Michael Keyser led her to victory of the 1972 class GT world championship. Later, the pale-yellow Porsche racing car with the two black arrow-shaped stripes on the hood was for decades considered lost. It is only thanks to the tireless investigative work of the automotive journalist Thomas Imhof that the famous 911 was rediscovered in May 2013 in San Francisco. Completely corroded and in very bad condition, in the hands of Porsche Classics specialists it has been faithfully restored with love and passion to the smallest detail. The large volume of 911 ST 2.5 traces the history of this unique restoration object, for the first time in a complete way, from the birth of its numerous sporting successes to the spectacular resurrection.
