A collection of vintage postcards and photographs, found at Sunday markets, tells the story of one of the most beautiful circuits in the world.

It was February 1922 when the news was given to the press: "Il Gran Premio d'Italia si disputerà a settembre all'interno del Parco di Monza" (The Italian Grand Prix will be held in September in Monza Park).

The Automobile Club of Milan, to celebrate its 25th anniversary, decided to build the Monza Autodrome.

Il circuito degli eroi (The Heroes' Circuit) contains brief chronicles of the Grand Prix from 1922 to 1959 and biographies of the champions who made motor racing history and contributed, up to the extreme, to its progress.

Also, how the circuit has changed, from its debut to the post-war period, theatre of tough competitions of ''heroes of the track'', engaged for hours at the wheel of means that at the time were jewels of technology, but that today make us smile and think.
