Fenomenologia dello Zigolo e altre storie is a collection of short stories featuring a colourful series of characters who have in common the fact that they ride vintage vehicles.
One of the most curious is a giant highlander who lives in symbiosis with his mighty Moto Guzzi Ercole motorcar, with which he can be said to identify completely.
Others use different models of motorbikes also produced by the Mandello factory, like the powerful V7 Sport but also the humble and honest Zigolo which gives the book its title.
Then there are Laverda 750 SFC, NSU Max 250, BMW 500 RS Rennsport, SWM and Mazzilli for regularity racing, Lambretta Innocenti and others, because the real protagonists after all are them, the motorbikes. And in some cases it almost seems that these are their owners, their accessories, rather than the opposite.
110 pages, enriched by many vintage images, often previously unpublished, that introduce us to a world of timeless motoring fascination that the author fully captures to the reader.
The trait of an era that saw him work, for over forty years, as a mechanic restorer, with hands in the grease, besides writing about engines.
