Forty years after its debut, the Alfa Romeo 33 also rightfully enters the successful series Le vetture che hanno fatto la storia.

Successor to The Alfasud, from which it received the platform and mechanicals, both updated, the 33, in saloon and giardinetta versions, is one of the most iconic Alfa cars of the 1980s.

Clean, squared-off lines characterised its styling with a result of remarkable elegance and balance. The first series (1983-1986) was followed by a first restyling that took the model to the early 1990s; then the second series that kept it on the list until the middle of that decade.

There were also many special series that, in terms of the marketing actions carried out by the Arese company at the time, were a real strong point for this model.

The book, by Lorenzo Ardizio and Leonardo Olivari, renowned experts on Biscione cars, reviews the entire technical, stylistic and industrial history of this successful model, without forgetting the special versions, such as those fitted out for the police force.

120 pages and hundreds of photos, in b/w and colour.
