Luigi Fusi, a pupil of Merosi and Jano, worked in Alfa Romeo for forty-seven years - draftsman, designer, head of design control - and published this valuable book in 1965, listing and illustrating all the cars produced by the Biscione company, and considered by Alfisti all over the world as the brand's "bible".

This second edition, dated 1966, illustrated the models of more than 100 cars built in 55 years by the Milanese company, from 1910 to 1962. A third, and final, edition was published in 1978, which, in addition to the complete list of models produced by Alfa Romeo up to 1977, received an English translation of the text.

Most of the photographs, drawings and technical data were taken from the factory archives, while for data not available, mainly lost due to wartime events, the author made up for this with meticulous research at various institutions and people, also appealing to the personal memory and that of elderly former Alfa technicians, racers and mechanics.
