Since issue 250, Cavallino has been completely redesigned. More pages, more editorials, more photos - all with the same exquisite attention to detail.

• Eventi: Cavallino Classic Modena 2026. This issue opens with a report on the sixth Cavallino Classic in Modena, a young but already established event held in the city where Enzo Ferrari was born. Thirty-eight Ferraris were on display, including some of the marque’s rarest and most refined specimens, all identified by serial number in the report. But Cavallino Modena is not “only about cars”: entrants and invited guests enjoy traditional cuisine and elegant dinners while discussing restorations and the pleasure of driving classic Ferraris.
• Main feature and cover car: 1967 330 GTC s/n 10579. A car can only be original once, and the 330 GTC that graces the cover of this issue of Cavallino has remained completely original throughout its life. Delivered in Nevada in November 1967, this well-preserved example, with only 19,000 miles on the odometer, still retains its original paint, leather, and all its main components. Keeping a car like this in such condition is no easy task; rather, it is an ongoing commitment that requires experience and love. Yes, because 10579 is still regularly—and carefully—driven by its enthusiast custodian…
• Main features: Ferrari Pinin s/n PF 99788. Officially, this car is not a Ferrari, as it carries a Pininfarina chassis number; nevertheless, it remains one of the most iconic “Ferrari” show cars ever created. The first four-door to wear the Prancing Horse logo, it was never intended to be a running vehicle. Jacques Swaters began the project of making it drivable—a task completed, many years later, by an Italian collector with a very special partner in crime: engineer Mauro Forghieri, supported by his Oral Engineering team. • Link to main feature: Diego Ottina. The stylist behind the Testarossa and the Pinin shares his memories and the circumstances that led him to design two of the most iconic Ferraris ever. Ottina’s words allow us to look at the Pinin’s lines with a fresh eye for detail and to better understand why, 46 years after its birth, this four-door one-off remains one of the most beautiful Ferraris ever designed.
• Drive Them: 2003 Ferrari 575M Maranello around America. The title is not a typo: 575M s/n 133218 did not drive across America, but around it, covering 14,000 miles in the space of a few weeks and visiting all 48 continental states of the Union in the process. The article, a sort of long-distance test drive report, is an honest account of the many pluses and the occasional minuses of a journey that confirmed, once again, that Ferraris are made to be driven and can easily withstand everyday use, even in challenging conditions. So, what’s your excuse for not driving yours?
• Focus On: Ed Swart. Racer and former Zandvoort F1 chief Ed Swart recounts his life in motorsport and his passion for the classic Ferraris he has raced and shared amazing adventures with. The 250 Berlinetta Passo Corto and 512 BB LM are just two of the models he enjoyed on the racetrack. But his story goes much deeper, describing friendships with drivers such as Gilles Villeneuve and Jody Scheckter.
• One Off: the GM-styled 1972 365 GTB4 “Daytona” s/n 14777. Before going away for a few days, Hen “Chick” Jordan left his freshly purchased “Daytona” safely tucked away in his office parking space—or so he thought. As head of style at GM, he was surrounded by creative minds, eager to demonstrate that they had what it took to improve upon his Ferrari’s classic lines. Inspired by the “pimp cars” of 1970s movies, they developed the project in every way imaginable, creating something that was, well, unforgettable. Kudos to Chick for surviving the shock of seeing his pimped “Daytona” and for taking the joke with a smile before asking for the car to be returned to its original form... But only after taking some pictures of it first!
