Citroën Traction Avant - Un fenomeno mondiale, deals with the history of the production and distribution of this legendary car not only in France but also outside national borders.
The work traces the main stages of this story from the genesis of the project, conceived in 1934, until its conclusion in 1957.
The twenty-three chapters of the book, for a total of 186 pages, describe in detail the fundamental characteristics of all the models produced in the Quai de Javel plant in Paris, and those of the versions assembled at the other six plants established in Europe or in the countless branches scattered in Worldwide.
The story is accompanied by various diagrams and explanatory tables, as well as by about 250 photographs, both in color and in black and white, as they are strictly of the era.
The book ends with an unprecedented reference to cars of other brands explicitly derived from the Traction Avant, and an interesting analysis of its direct competitors.
