Anthony Colin Bruce Chapman was a British automotive engineer and pilot, best known as Lotus Team founder and Lotus Cars company. Genius inventor as far as competitions were concerned, under his supervision took shape some Formula One styling like the Chapman strut rear suspension, the study of the lightness of competing single-seaters with the application of tubeless frames made of aluminum sheet elements Folded and formed riveted, called monocoque.
