CUCCIOLO
MOTORIZZERA' LA VOSTRA BICICLETTA
During the Second World War, S.I.A.T.A. in Turin developed a "small auxiliary engine" called "cùcciolo".
This engine, which could be mounted on any bicycle model of the time, was put on sale from July 1945.
The "cùcciolo" is a 4-stroke overhead valve engine with a displacement of only 48 cc. It is "robust", has a maximum speed of 35 km/h and is also fuel-saving. All these features immediately contributed to a great sales success.
