The Barchetta was Lingotto's last car dedicated to leisure time, with a jaunty and brilliant behaviour, easy to drive and maintain and capable of giving sensations and vibrations that can only be experienced when travelling in the open air, the rarest pearl in a range, that of Fiat in the 1990s, as complete and varied as ever.
With its styling inspired by the competition and "divertissement" cars designed by the greatest Italian stylists of the 1950s, chock-full of references to the golden age of the automobile, in style and iconography, it was immediately considered an instant classic.
So much so that lovers of the genre, and today's most refined collectors, have not hesitated to immediately put one in their garages, especially when it comes to one of the many limited editions, some very precious, others whimsical, others with a decidedly sporty look.
A model that deserves to be rediscovered and described in every detail, therefore worthy of being part of this series - Le Guide ASI - and finding a place in the library of every self-respecting enthusiast.
50 fully illustrated pages. Text in Italian.
