This book tells the story of the Grand Prix of Albi held on 31 May 1953 in Albi, France, in which the last three Formula 1 world champions (Farina, Fangio and Ascari) took part: a rare and therefore exceptional event!

The Formula 1 non-championship race comprised two 10-lap qualifying series, one for Formula 2 cars and the other for Formula 1 cars. The top six finishers in each battery qualified for the final, to be run over a total of 18 laps. The race was won by French driver Louis Rosier in a Ferrari 375.

Grand Prix d'Albi 1953: la course des champions du monde evokes the most salient moments, with an exhaustive photographic outfit of more than 40 b/w images.

A small but valuable book, also aimed at the younger generation of motorsport enthusiasts.
