Irmscher - car enthusiasts will forever associate this name with Opel. No other company has developed something with a lightning bolt in the logo for so long and with so much success. At the beginning of the 1960s, Günther Irmscher began with "tuning", as it was still called at the time. At first he only dealt with NSU vehicles.
Then, in 1968, the company was founded and soon Opel started to compete in rallies and races with Günther Irmscher as head of motorsports at GM's German subsidiary. An exciting time! People like Walter Röhrl also won with Opel thanks to Irmscher's innovations.
Today Irmscher is a globally active partner in the automotive world, develops special models for many manufacturers and has established himself as a manufacturer of sports cars and even electric vehicles.
