In 1982, the USA sent 25 motorcyclists to the other side of the Iron Curtain to compete in the International Six Days Enduro, in Czechoslovakia.
The premier team from this group of riders, the USA Word Trophy Team, rode like champions for six days, and finished the penultimate day as the overall winners of the event.
This is the story of that week as seen by the author Paul Clipper, a veteran of off-road motorcycling magazines.
