In this book, Ivan Capelli - one of the most appreciated drivers in Formula 1 in the 1980s and 1990s, currently commentator for Sky - retraces and reveals his life, in and outside the track, through 55 stories (the same number that marked his kart on the day of his first race).
The narrative plot is interwoven with the comics, whose task is to give a visual representation to the words, capturing and fixing singular moments to support the tale. There are many stories and anecdotes: how his passion for karting was born, how it developed alongside the enthusiasm of his father Graziano and all those who accompanied him on this journey.
Who gave him his Formula 1 suit and what he was told during his first drivers' briefing, on the day of his debut at Brands-Hatch in 1985; and again, his beginnings, as a child, on a pedal car, but also an unforgettable New Year's Eve spent at Senna's house in Brazil.
