A man from Messina tells the story of the 10 Hours of Messina: a night race, short-lived but intense, that saw the greatest champions in the most beautiful cars compete during the 1950s along the streets of the seaside city.
An unedited book full of fascinating photos where Ferraris whizz by with the Messina seafront as a backdrop. Thanks to the many archives provided by several friends, a rare and unpublished reportage is published for the first time.
More than eleven years have passed since the publication of "Bolidi di Notte" and the author, the vulcanic Nino Minutoli, returns to tell the story of the Messina race with a second edition entitled La 10 ore di Messina, bolidi in una notte d'estate and enriched with 50 new, unpublished and interesting photos for fans not only of the 10 hours but of historic motor racing in general.
Once again, what seemed forgotten comes back to life thanks to the memory of a great enthusiast.
