Historical and entrepreneurial events such as those of the Ceirano brothers have truly marked the destiny of a city and later of an entire nation. Between the end of the 1800s and the beginning of the 1900s, Turin became the cradle of the Italian automobile, and although today only two great universally known brands remain (Fiat and Lancia), in that period the four-wheel pioneers were in the dozens.
Among these, the Ceirano brothers undoubtedly stand out, along with the various "brands" they tirelessly promoted: we are talking about Welleyes, Rapid, Junior, Itala, SPA, and SCAT.
For a researcher, a historian, or an enthusiast, it would be truly difficult to untangle the complicated events of the Ceiranos. However, Nino Balestra has finally managed to bring some order to this "chaos" of industrial and family interweavings.
His meticulousness and insatiable hunger for news have made it possible to complete a new puzzle to be handed down for future memory, so that every smallest trace of the great Italian history of motoring and locomotion can be a source of inspiration (and pride) for generations to come.
