This second volume, after the first on Lancia Fulvia HF, covers Lancia Stratos, one of the most famous rallies cars, which, thanks to its innovative layout (mid-rear engine arranged transversely) led the way in this specialty.
Born from the proposal of a coachbuilder (Nuccio Bertone) at the 1970 Turin Motor Show, almost a concept car for its daring innovations, it became the queen of rallies until its early retirement at the end of the 1970s.
A richly illustrated profile, with highly evocative pictures, and an account of the Lancia Stratos' most important sporting results (in the period 1972-1982).
