The prototype of the Lancia Stratos was presented for the first time at the booth of the bodywork Bertone at the Turin Motorshow of 1970 causing a stir and incredulit at the audience and a lukewarm reception in the House. He was to meet the needs of the team Ran this last that, a year later, took life pi another Stratos, all different but rich of charm, designed especially to compete in rally races.
