In Stuttgart, in August 1939, with the 60K10 project, under the supervision of Professor Ferdinand Porsche, a car was developed in anticipation of a race, from Berlin to Rome, which would never have taken place. With this model the idea of a light and aerodynamic car was born, with a small engine but remarkable performances. Nine years after this idea, the company released its first car, the Porsche 356, which would launch the company in automotive history.
'Porsche, Cars with Soul' is a beautifully illustrated tribute to Porsche's commitment to achieving the highest level in motorsport, to the extraordinary effort of the pilots, engineers and mechanics who have contributed to achieving this goal, and to the remarkable relationship between Porsche and his fans. It also underlines the commitment of the Porsche family to be present at competitions and other important events right from the start, making Porsche fans feel part of a great and extraordinary family.
