Beautiful photographic report of the 1998 F.I.V.A. Rallye Mondial, held in France, from 19 to 27 September.
The FIVA (International Federation for Historic Vehicles) - made up at that time of 44 Federations or Clubs, representing more than 30 countries in five continents - each year entrusted one of its members with the organization of this rally: Portugal in 1995, Great Britain in 1996 and Greece in 1997.
In 1998, the FFVE (French Federation of Historic Vehicles) received the honour and commission to organize the event.
Starting and finishing in Paris, it took place in the heart of France over a distance of 2000 km, and touched on natural sites, châteaux and historic homes, 182 participants.
