Joly Maxime's Renault Sport trilogy is completed with a final book tracing the Renault Sport universe and, before that, the Berex.
But what is Berex? The answer in the 12 pages of the relevant chapter, which precedes the next 11.
The 240 pages are divided into two sections:
- the first, dedicated to Berex (Bureau d'Étude et de Recherches Exploratoires), illustrates, in succession, R5 Turbo, R11 and R9 Turbo, the Super 5 GT Turbo, R25 V6 Turbo 205, Safrane Biturbo and the Clio Williams.
- The second deals with the arrival of Renault Sport's production models, with Spider, Clio V6, Twingo R.S., Mégane IV R.S. ( fully covered), and a trio of extreme Mégane R.S. included in a single chapter dedicated to collectors.
The iconography is rich and complete, with rare archive documents provided by Renault Sport or by the designers themselves, as well as photos of cars in exceptional condition, cared for by meticulous and passionate owners.
