La Ronde Cévenole (1967–1979) – now in its third edition (revised and expanded) – is considered the definitive guide to one of France’s most legendary and spectacular motor races.

Held between 1967 and 1979, the Ronde Cévenole was often called the "French Targa Florio" due to its grueling 42 km loop on the slopes of Mont-Aigoual, which drivers had to complete 10 times.

As the original race archives were lost in a flood in 1988, Jacques Privat painstakingly reconstructed the history using period magazines, regional newspapers, and entry lists. The book provides lap-by-lap details, retirements, and full scratch rankings for every edition.

  • Illustrations: This third edition features an extensive collection of approximately 350 photos, many previously unpublished, sourced from both professional and amateur photographic archives.
  • Insights: It includes firsthand accounts from numerous professional and amateur drivers, capturing the unique atmosphere of this "natural circuit" that was eventually closed due to environmental protections.
  • Technical Specifications: 198 pages, hardcover, 21 x 29 cm format. It features forewords by racing legends Jean-Claude Andruet and Bernard Fiorentino.
  • Third edition (revised and expanded). Text in French.
