This remarkable volume, published in 2025, is dedicated to the Toyota 2000GT, still celebrated worldwide as one of Japan's most iconic classic cars.

The author, Koichi Inoue, describes the creation of this vehicle as an automotive "miracle," made possible by a unique combination of elements: the spark of an original idea, an elite design team, the collaboration between manufacturing companies, and the overwhelming public support following the prototype's debut.

Inoue had previously written a book about the 2000GT driven by his pure admiration for its beauty. However, after having the chance to speak directly with Nozaki, the man who created the car from scratch, his perspective completely changed.

He came to view the 2000GT as a true work of refined taste. The goal of this 2025 publication is to record this remarkable story and share it overseas as a key piece of Japanese automotive history (which is why the book features both Japanese and English text).

The book covers the early model (MF10-1033) and the later model (MF10-10501), the car's feature at the Toyota Automobile Museum, a memorial journey through the decades (from the 1970s up to the 2000s restoration for its 50th Anniversary), as well as the technical structure and the birth story of the Toyota 2000GT.
