Carrozzeria Boneschi was founded at the end of the First World War in Cambiago (MI), when Giovanni Boneschi opened his workshop for the construction of motor car bodies.

And since 1919, Carrozzeria Boneschi has remained an outstanding exponent of the Italian Style on the international coachbuilding scene.

From the 1920s onwards, Boneschi created some of its most successful interpretations, based on the Lancia Dilambda, Astura and Aprilia models, characterized by luxury and customized bodies for wealthy clients.

An industrial history marked by important successes, from the close and long-lasting collaboration with Lancia to the productions for the Italian Citroën, up to the productions during the dark years of the war.

And after the war, successes in the field of special vehicles (medical and military), collaboration with important car manufacturers, and a great success in the commercial and publicity vehicles sector.

In this book, the author, Sergio Puttini, gives us a detailed historical and photographic profile of Carrozzeria Boneschi, with, in the appendix, the production registers for the years between 1935 and 1940, which allow identifying with great precision a group of cars, in particular Lancias.
