La 6C 1750 Alfa Romeo, by Roy Slater and Luigi Fusi, published in 1968, has become a classic of motoring literature and, years on, a collector's rarity. Both authors were closely linked, through multiple activities and passions, to the House of Biscione.

Roy Slater, who was born in England and then settled in Italy, has dealt assiduously with the Milanese company since '30 and published a detailed history of it in 1964, written in collaboration with Peter Hull.

Luigi Fusi, a pupil of Merosi and Jano, worked in Alfa Romeo for forty-seven years - draftsman, designer, head of design control - and published in 1965 a valuable overview of all the cars produced, later revised, updated and expanded, in 1978, and considered by Alfisti all over the world to be the brand's 'bible'.

Their monograph on 6C 1750 - a car that was and remains one of the highest expressions of automotive technology in the world - therefore offers, on the basis of an absolute accuracy in its information, everything that can be demanded on this subject.

Thus, the description of the basic model and the variants, the respective maintenance and repairs norms, profiles of coachbuilders and drivers, and the history of racing success. Each chapter is accompanied by a large set of photographs, engine sections, diagrams and schemes.

In the appendix, all the technical characteristics of the different series, including the 6C 1500 and 1900. And the "elenchi delle 6C 1500 e 1750 esistenti", with chassis and engine number, body type, coachbuilder's name, first owner, place of destination and number plate.
