Alfa Romeo Argentina 100 anni, a special book celebrating 100 years of the make in Argentina, from February 1923, when Don Eduardo Carú signed the first contract with the Milanese manufacturer, to the present day, with the brand's current importer, Centro Milano S.A.
Alfa Romeo Argentina 100 anni is the result of almost ten years of research for the first edition, and of the last 17 years for the second. Given that most of the events narrated in this book happened before the authors were born, they decided to base their accounts, mainly, on witnesses to the events, unfortunately very few.
This is why the main sources are photographic archives, newspapers, magazines and articles of the time. The reader can retrace this story inside the history of the House of Biscione, with the help of hundreds of pictures and valuable documents.
And, as the authors point out in the preface, this research was carried out with the purpose of telling the history of Alfa Romeo and its relation to Argentina, and not to prove, certify or validate the history, authenticity or lineage of any of the cars (or their different parts) included in the research.
