If it is true that the V12 engine has always been considered the most iconic powertrain for road cars - and not only - produced by the Maranello factory, it is equally true that in the Seventies it was an 8-cylinder car that definitively projected Ferrari into an industrial dimension.
The 308 GTB, unveiled at the 1975 Paris Motor Show, was the model that gave a new image to Ferrari berlinettas, once again born from the flair of Leonardo Fioravanti.
With its soft yet gritty lines, the 308 stood at the apex of a genealogy of GTs from the Prancing Horse - 208 and 328 - all equipped with V8 engines located behind the cockpit and available in closed and open body versions, which accompanied the Maranello marque until the end of the 1980s, with production figures never seen before.
Iconic and unforgettable cars, now more desired than ever by collectors who vie for them at ever higher prices.
Ferrari 308-208-328, the sixth title in the Supercars Series, features 168 pages and hundreds of b/w and colour pictures.
