It is impossible to talk about Maserati without mentioning its historic rival, Ferrari. Ferrari Maserati - Le duel therefore intends to compare these two Italian legends by telling their stories, which are inseparable.
Both born in the first half of the 20th century, Modena's two best enemies have had a similar course. The Italian automotive industry experienced a sort of golden age between the 1950s and the 1970s, and it was during this period that the two fabulous legends flourished.
The two marques competed in all fields: grand touring cars battled it out in style, technology, and performance; on the sporting front, they fought in endurance and Formula 1.
The unfolding of their shared history is punctuated by 20 face-to-face battles, or "duels", that allow us to examine the iconic models of the two marques, studying them and comparing their technical characteristics. In the appendix, there is a detailed list of all existing models of both brands.
