Jean-Paul Delsaux, a great specialist in Belgian automobile history, presents us here with an unjustly forgotten GP.
A particularity: it took place the same weekend of the first event valid for the drivers world championship, the European Grand Prix at Silverstone, in mid-May 1950.
During that weekend Ferrari chose to race at Mons rather than at Silverstone, winning with Alberto Ascari.
