This book presents part of the rich iconographic collection of Luca Massacci, with some additions by Daniele Guglielmi and other researchers. The images, some previously unpublished, offer an overview of Italian armoured vehicles employed between the preparations for entry into the war and the proclamation of the armistice on 8 September 1943, when the Second World War was still in its full course.
The captions that accompany the photographs are the original ones or the result of research and verification and provide useful information for historians, enthusiasts and modellers.
The book is fully illustrated with many previously unpublished images, an absolutely comprehensive text and a series of summary tables providing all the characteristics of the armoured and armed vehicles examined.
