The XK identifies a series of sports cars produced by Jaguar from 1948 onwards. The XK replaced the SS100 sports car in Jaguar's line-up.
The XK series of the 1950s was born around the new engine of the same name, designed and tested immediately after the Second World War.
The 1948 Jaguar XK120 has been described as the greatest affordable sports car ever produced. Not only was it beautiful to look at, it also had the powerful new XK engine.
This small but valuable volume, full of photographs, presents the XK 120, 140 and 150.
Published in 1998, it celebrates 50 years of the XK model.
