We are in the Lombardy province at the end of the 1920s.
Piero Tosi, a young and agile rider with the face of a movie star, builds a racing motorbike, which he names Bulon.
Blue as sky and as fast as wind, it embodied the long-cherished dream of this common man, a sanguine and sincere anti-fascist, a great fan of engines as well as beautiful women.
Riding his "creature", Piero soon rose to sporting fame and became a close friend of the great champion Achille Varzi, who, estimating and appreciating his many qualities, introduced him to his environment, the world of the "rich and powerful".
And amidst surprises and meetings, the plot of this lovely book by Donatello Bellomo unfolds, animated by a multitude of unforgettable characters, some of which really existed.
